A wealth of keen golfers representing leading North East businesses from around the region came together at Northumberland Golf course to compete in Tier One Capital's annual golf day and at the same time helped create awareness and support for grass roots sport in the region. The senior team at Tier One Capital welcomed clients and businesses to the prestigious golf course and were delighted with the success of their networking event.
Ian McElroy, Chief Executive, Tier One Capital, said, "We had a great day's golf and it was very pleasing to see so many of our clients and representatives from leading businesses from around the region take time out of their busy schedule to attend and enjoy a great day of golf on this fantastic course.
"We also took the opportunity to highlight our long-term support for charity Sport Newcastle and to promote to the businesses attending the many exciting opportunities that exist for local businesses to get behind the development of grass roots sport in the region."
The winning team was aptly captained for the second year running by Tier One Capital's Fund Manager Brendan O'Grady.
The longest drive and the nearest to the pin winner was Richard Rafique of Bradley Hall Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents
